Re: Correct tyre sizes?

I recently replaced all 4 corners on my van with these tyres, very happy with them so far.

Re: Anti Roll Bar and Drop Link Bush Replacement Video

Hi James, I decided to replace my ARB and drop link bushes last weekend, having your video as a guide was invaluable so thanks once again for doing these. I used the clamp method on the drop link upper bush and as you say, keeping the pressure on whilst using the clamp is the trick. I did make one s...

Re: Advice on leisure battery please?

Hi Triumph, I bought this Alpha battery for under the passenger seat in my 91 Autosleeper [so should be the exact same setup as yours] and it fits perfectly. It's tight but fits fine, which means that the small wooden/carpet covered lid now fits nice a snug and flat. Whereas it was slightly raised, ...

I'd be interested to see the results once you've had a go, as I have similar sun fade on my unit.

Re: Autosleeper Trident - Underslung Water Tank

Do you have an access hatch on your tank? If so just get a through-hull spigot from ebay and fit that. If not CAK tanks is the usual source for tanks. Thanks for the 'through-hull spigot' tip Oldie. Not sure if it has an acess hatch on the top, so I'll drop the tank tomorrow to take a look. If not ...

Autosleeper Trident - Underslung Water Tank

Hi All,

I am going to need to replace my underslung water tank on my Autosleeper Trident as the moulded section that the outlet hose connects to has snapped off.

Has anyone else replaced theirs in the past and if so where did you purchase your replacement tank from?

Thanks
Nathan

Re: REMINDER - Hub caps on tight

Thanks for the pointers.

Checked the wheel nuts and at least they had tightened those up correctly.

REMINDER - Hub caps on tight

Hi All, More of a reminder to myself, but as this happened to me I thought that I would put it out there. I had 4 new tyres put onto my van the other weekend but stupidly didn't check that the garage had put my hubcaps back on properly before driving off; they hadn't. When I got home I found out tha...

Tyre recommendations for 14" wheels

Hi All, I'm looking to get a set of new tyres all round and was planning on getting the Goodyear Cargo 28's but can't seem to find any in stock. Goodyear Cargo http://www.camskill.co.uk/m90b0s96p1144%20...%20se%3A_70dB Before I continue my search I thought I'd see if anyone has any other recommendat...

Re: Handbrake cable - what's this part?

Not used on T3s. I assume they're for those older less desirable Transporters. Agreed. I knew that this part wasn't on the new shoes i fitted as that doesn't use a pin and clip, it's a pressed bolt. Also checked the old shoes i removed and they are the same, so as you say this must have been used f...

Just a thought but have you checked the front hub bearings to make sure that there is no excessive play?

Handbrake cable - what's this part?

Hi All, I replaced my rear handbrake cables today with two of these from Brickwerks. https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/t3-parts/brakes/handbrake/handbrake-cable-t3-2wd-to-wheels.html Everything is fine and working well, however I am left with these spare parts that came with the cables and have no idea w...
