Rev counter wiring

i am fitting an after market TIM rev counter on my petrol caravelle, my question is , what fuse can i use for the "live when ignition is on" rather than running 2 wires to the coil, is there a spare or do i link to the cigarette light or something like that...

me personally i change the filters every 6 months regardless of miles, usually 6 k, speed.. up to you, obviously its more economical in the "green" (if you have a rev counter... oil consumption seems a little on the high side but dont worry just keep her topped up, every 1.6td jx ive owned...

thats favourite... start by cleaning off all that has grown inside the cap and on the end of the rotar arm...

if the van is running sweet leave it, i would imagine it may be slightly down on power with the solex as opposed to the pierburg but only when your foots down, in my experience pierburgs have allways given me grief and need a constant cleaning out or fettling, maybe ive been unlucky, my current bus ...

mine did the same as you are describing and it turned out the internals had actually broken and the whole thing was just turning and not tightening....
