Does anyone know somewhere in the Doncaster/Yorkshire region who could do the job at a fair price? In no rush at the mo as im in the process of rustoleuming the van and dont want great spodges ...

Drilling Lug Holes (merc wheels)

hi, Ive just aquired some 16" merc wheels, but the lug holes need drilling to 14mm (at 12mm atm). Is this a simple job that one can do with a bench drill, or is it worth getting someone to do them "properly" Also, do the bolt "kits" available online, fit alloys with the smal...

Would a "dual vac" one solve the problem? - i know theres many other variables so probably not a good question.

Any idea where to source the parts?

Hard to get my head round all the info when i dont have much knowledge about mechanicals.

Thanks for the info, Took off the airfilter box today, theres no seal on either side, was a real push to get the pipes over the carb, but went on with a positive clunk(?). Still having problems with the power (or lack of), took it for a spin and is flat out at 55mph (foot to the floor). Im quite hap...

Hi, Looking at pics there seems to be a rubber seal/boot where the airfilter pipe comes onto the top of the carb, i presume theres one on the right side one due to the fact it doesnt move about. The left side has a 6mm gap all the way round so just presume its missing something, you can lift the pip...

Trying to locate a carb - airbox seal

Looking for the seal which the airbox pipe connects to the carb. There isnt one on at all at the moment so theres a 6mm(ish) gap all the way round. Would this affect performance with the gap and no seal? Also looking for the hose from the air intake to the vacuum unit. It wasnt connected at all, so ...
