Hello I'm from northants, best garage I've found is DG Motor Services in Wellingborough they know their old VW's normally booked up weeks in advanced but great garage, failing them I use progress motors Wellingborough who passed my vans MOT a couple of weeks ago! Only cost me £36

They come in a tidy little carry bag. And are black rather than bright yellow! I think they are great!

(The bags really helpful when it's been wet and muddy) :ok

I don't really have a reason not to run on gas I guess I have always assumed that I plan to stick to sites, but you are completely right. I suppose if I did set it up to run on gas then on the occasions I went "into the wild" it would be far more practical!

I saw a twin slider once with all the units laid out in the conventional manner (behind driver) but with the added advantage that any cooker/fridge maintenance needed then the door could be opened for full access.
