So, the knackered cams on both sides of the hinge are now replaced, and the lower roller guide that got damaged when the door blew off the jack in the most stupid freak gust of Welsh wind ever is replaced with a nice not mangled one from a breakers yard in Suffolk. Urgh, turns out the ones that go either side of the spring on the other side of the hinge are broken into bits too. Now I can't fix it until I can get replacements. I was hoping to sort it out this weekend :( I suppose this means I get the challenge of taking the door off and all that now. Nervous y...

The cam in the sliding door hinge just broke in half and fell out. Luckily I found it because otherwise I'd have had much less of a clue as to why the door was buggered :S Is that weird? Metal fatigue? I've found that we can get a replacement for just over a tenner, but taking the door off and ferck...
