Re: New seats
Right, some better pics and a little explanation if anyone wants to wiki this for me or whatever you do to get it in there. General overview. These are very dark blue. They do look good with the blue rear seats though :) They sit quite nicely in the cab. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a194/Fox_Mc...

Re: New seats
I could quite happily/easily make a post up to go in the Wiki on how I did it. I'll get better pics and do a writeup. Seems these seats are cheap enough on ebay and also, very light!

They are screwed into the dash surround i take it?
Ringo
Bolted through a strib of ally underneath as a load spreader to stop the surround cracking- the VDO gauges are a bit wieghty
Works well though

Re: Van after about a year or so..
barking!! i love it :D Cheers. I just want it to be 110% different from other T25's, don't see a lot done in this style. I like a bit of big bumper and AMG wheel action from time to time but this van is not the time or place :) I just like the crazy american hotrod/truck theme I have started and I'...

Re: Van after about a year or so..
Got some merc wheels the other day and put them on the back with some 235/70R15 tires. Didn't think they would clear the trailing arms but they do so now- Mad stance. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a194/Fox_Mcintyre/IMG_5213.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a194/Fox_Mcintyre/IMG_5214.jpg Wha...

Tyre pressure querey..
Ok, not the usual 'what R my tyres meant to be blown up2?'. I know that :P I have fitted 15" wheels on the back of my 'bus with massive tractor style 235/75R15 tyres. What pressure should I be looking at running them at? I would imagine less than factory pressures as they have a much bigger foo...

Re: Oil pumps and pressure relief spring? Should I replace?
Interesting thread :) I always thought that low oil pressure at tickover when hot was down to worn shell bearings and / or crank journals and that anyone who thought simply fitting a new pump was being overly optimistic ! However your experience with the Golf motor suggests this is not always the c...

Re: Oil pumps and pressure relief spring? Should I replace?
Cheers.. I spoke to one of the engine builders at Elite and he said even if the spring is buggered, it won't account for the pressure being so low at idle when the maximum pressure cutout works fine. I am going to replace the pump (upon thier recommendation) ASAP when funds allow and just clean and ...

Re: Oil pumps? Should I replace?
No one can help me so far then? Have looked into oil pressure problems via search, I think I'm going to trakc down a new oil pressure relief valve spring first and clean that out and replace the spring. If I do it with oil still inthe van, how much will pi$$ out when I take the big bung thing out th...

Oil pumps and pressure relief spring? Should I replace?
I think I need a new one. :( With the oil hot, my new pressure gauge (which is VDO) reads negliable at idle and about 1.2BAR at 2000 RPM. I'm surprised that the warning light doesn't come on. (the system does appear to work, it takes a while for it to go off after an oil change) The engine is coming...

Re: Van after about a year or so..
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a194/Fox_Mcintyre/DSC00315.jpg hehe... Ok, so.. Got the nicer looking Porsche brakefluid warning light fitted in place of the manky black VW one that is only one line and not red. I think it looks soa much niver, actually like an important warning light rather than...
