Yes same guy, I'm going to investigate further, no burst pipes but boiling coolant. Going to pressure check it, invest in a quality pressure cap, search the pipes for leaks then if necessary do the gaskets etc & cross my fingers about the bolts etc.

Hi all, I have a 1.9 DG panel van, had an overheating issue, had no thermostat, a dodgy pressure cap and distorted header tank so that's all been replaced. Hi, thanks for the replies. Ive just ordered a new header tank, new coolant fan switch (after testing it works at both speeds), a new temp gauge sensor and a new pressure cap.
