Try poking the needle through the brake fluid inlet hole and the bleed nipple hole?

Hi Guys, All back together and rear brakes bled again without a problem atall. The front though is another story: Even with the bleed nipple right out there is no flow what so ever. The brake pedal feels like the nipple is in and there is air in the system. If i take the pipe out of the caliper brak...

So iv just been for a trip around town (about 3 miles) lots of stop starting. Brakes worked well and they were very very slightly warm to the touch when i got in. No high speeds or heavy braking so wasnt really expecting them to get hot unless i had them adjusted too tight. The only thing i noticed ...

CovKid that looks nasty! Mine were badly pitted but no cracks. Update: I have just finished adjusting the brakes. What a fiddely bloody git of a job xD. Having the wheel on doing this would be pure lunacy :D Anyway i think i have them adjusted about right using the official "click bong" me...

ith respect to the original poster.....it does worry me a little to hear someone questioning the basics...this just has to be right. Ha, excellent. When i initially set up the drums, just a quick go to see how it worked really, i took the drum off, adjusted, put the drum back on and checked for friction. I think the drum is brushing on the backplate silghtly as this stays the same until the brakes start to bind making it difficul...

Thanks guys, the rear brakes are back together now i just need to sort out the adjuster as the handbrake comes up very high. Am i right in thinking if i pump the hand brake the adjuster will work automatically? Ill give it another good clean when i do that. The amount of gunk in there was scary! Wil...
