Re: Which amp wire between charger and leisure battery

Hi guys, thanks for all the advice. I do LOVE this forum, so helpful :) Ive seen the fuse holders with the moulded in wire but it appears it will be to short to run between the two batteries. Would I just get one and just connect it into the wires that are already there? Or just get something like t...

Re: Which amp wire between charger and leisure battery

I haven't changed anything yet. I think the problem may have been the fuse from the starter battery as when I opened the tape it was in a bad way. I think Ill get a fuse holder and replace both fuses and see what gives. Would 30amps in both be about right?

Re: Which amp wire between charger and leisure battery

Well, just been having a few issue with the leisure battery not recharging.. There is currently a 35 amp in the fuse holder on the leisure battery side and a 30 amp on the starter battery side. That side was just taped up and has no holder just a fuse 'taped' into the brozne clips at end of wire.. I...

Re: Which amp wire between charger and leisure battery

Hi, sorry to hijack the thread.. Im just about to change my relay set-up to 50 amp.. Ive an autopsleeper with leisure battery behind the passenger seat. The wires on there appear to go out through a hole and under the chassis to connect the two batteries. Is that right? How can I tell if its 50 amp ...

electrical lesson in return for a pub lunch!

hi guys Anyone fancy dropping by if in the area and giving me a quick run through my bus' electrics/leisure battery/hookup and how exactly they are all 'supposed' to work. I'm trying to get to grips with my bus, a 90' Autosleeper water cooled, and seem to be getting the hang of the mechanical side b...

Front bumper removal Autosleeper

Hi guys I've a '90 Autosleeper bus and want to just take a little bit of surface rust off the ledge behind the front bumper but I can't seem to work how how to get it off! It's the big chunky type with a faring type underneath main bumper. I can see the two Allen key bolts on front. Is there any mor...

Socket set, please recommend me one!

Hi guys Just looking at some socket sets and not entirely sure exactly what I need. I think I read 3/8th's somewhere? Is that right? And from around 5mm to 22mm.. I thinks that's on the wiki. It just for really basic stuff but don't want to buy anything made of cheese. Anyone recommend me a decent l...
