Hi all, I replaced my 1.6TD JX engine with a 1.9TD AAZ a couple of years back. I kept the old gearbox I'm really pleased with how it's running but I get very high revs - 1st gear non existent and into 5th by 30mph - I've got used to it now but... I saw something about putting bigger tyres on. Can an...
I'm looking to replace my battery at the moment for my 1.9TD AAZ engine. Would you recommend the battery you linked to Martin or would I be better off with this one that I found on another post: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Varta-Silver-E44-Heavy-Duty-Car-Battery-77AH-SIZE-096-5-YEAR-WARRANTY-/2520...

I was having starting problems so with the help of youtube and this site I removed starter motor, checked it, replaced it, cleaned all cables, connectors etc. - put it all back together and ...
Hmm, just double checked as I doubted myself but they are definitely the wrong fittings. My old bulbs have a much bigger black plastic fitting and the 3 pins at the back are different sizes. Ah, well. I'll keep looking.

Cheers Martin, I reckon I'll go for some pink stuff then.
I took my headlights off, emptied the water out and dried them out like you suggested. I think I sorted the problem. Cheers for the advice on how to do it. My wife was well impressed with me.
