Fridge Repair/Replacement.
Does anyone know of a fridge mechanic please? Preferably in SW London /Surrey, although I would be prepared to travel a bit.. I have an Electrolux RM185R in my 1990 Reimo conversion. It works well but recently ceased to ignite on gas. A nuisance when operating without hook up. New replacements are a...

Re: Generator V Belt

It happened to coincide with the start of the French national holiday. As we limped on to to a garage forecourt they wer...

Generator V Belt
Good morning. Could anyone please tell me the correct size for a 1990 1600 TD. They quote several on the JK site and I found the GSF one difficult to negotiate. I want to take a spare to France with me this year, as past experience tells me, the French are poor on supplies for old VW's. By the way, ...

SLAP BANG SLAP etc
I have a 1990 Reimo with Westfalia type roof. Plagued with a noise driving all the way to Cornwall and half way back. Driving myself and partner 'round the bend'. It started at 50mph and just got worse. It seemed to come from the front at knee level. I spent ages underneath tie-ing up the speedo cab...

Thanks everyone for all your very helpful comments.Im in exactly the same frame of mind as Rachel Daisy re height, convenience, and gutter trim. It's just that I did not fancy 18 kgs held by 2 brackets on the gutter. I like the sound of the caravanstore but did not fancy drilling and with the pop top...

The idea was to have instant shade and similar pack up time. I thought the caravanstore might take longer and how does it travel?. We have no room inside. As ex tenters we have tended to shy away from anything that takes time particularly as we do a lot of one nighters. Thanks for all your comments-k...

Pull out sun awnings
I'm thinking of a sun awning. Narrowed it down to an Omnistor or a Fiamma. Any comments? I have a front raising roof. Many thanks, Deke.
