Re: struggling to find a leisure battery that fits behind passenger seat

A quick google search comes up with. "A car  battery is  designed to provide a burst of  energy to start the engine when required, whereas a  leisure battery  will release a lower level  of  energy over a prolonged period  of  time  in  order to power appliances." You should never use a t...

Re: struggling to find a leisure battery that fits behind passenger seat

Alpha don’t do leisure batteries that fit under the seat , they do rebadged starter batteries ...... and not cheap either  to be a leisure battery there must be no CCA ( cold cranking amps) rating . https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171795071390 although this is only 75ah it’s a true leisure battery and w...

Thanks :ok

Assuming I have tested correctly (Live to top of fuse and negative to earth on bare metal), I get 1.8V reading. Leisure battery is reading 8V this morning....any ideas - dead battery?!

westfalia 3 way fridge sudddenly stopped igniting and warning panel issue

Hi All We are currently away on a 3 week trip around Scotland - fridge (3 way westfalia) has been running on gas for last 2 weeks. After a long drive up to Isle of Syke, the fridge has stopped cooling and the red light igniter is not illuminated when pressed. Also, the warning panel for the leisure ...

Khyam Motordome Awning - Should I sell or trash?

I have an old Khyam Motordome awning, all the poles etc work, but the canvas has a few tears in it. Is there any point in trying to flog it  - if so does anyone know the best place to advertise it? Im not sure if people want the poles or not?

Or should I just take it to the dump?

Go for the Landrover mirrors -best thing I ever did with mine - cost circa £50 - you need to get the brackets from Rowley - all the details on this thread: http://forum.club8090.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=142553&p=8124797&hilit=mirrors+bill+of+materials#p8124797" onclick="windo...
