I'm just playing with ideas, would like to do a pd conversion with a 6 speed one day. But also while my dg is still going well I'm thinking of ...

Speedo/ clocks issues

The speedo in my 89 1.9 wbx is giving me issues. The trip mileage doesn't click over, I've had it apart several times and know what has gone wrong with it but have never successfully fixed it and to top it off now the speedo needle is miles out. Dose anyone have any recommendations for someone who c...

Re: Carpet lining a panel van

I have just recently carpeted my panel van and no I just did the panels in the side door And I had a good chippy mate completely line the sides and roof. I would also recommend you put some insulation in under the panels, I used this silver bubble wrap stuff off eBay http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/...

Re: day van conversion

Sam Ply lining is not really worth doing yourself. There are a lot of places that will do this, and very cheaply too. Look for commercial van ply lining. its ok kev, I have a mate who is a top notch chippy, just need to get him motivated to come and do it :D and im going to buy a rock n roll bed fr...

Re: Help with alloy wheels and wear on drum

Pretty sure the wheel should hold the drum still once bolted down, and the 11mm bolts are only to hold the drum on when a wheel is removed, that's just what I know from working on cars and vans
I'd say you have had a lose wheel at some point
Have you removed the drum and had a look inside?

after market fuel caps

brought a hella fuel cap from gsf this afternoon only to find it didn't fit!
so i took the bracket off the filler neck and had a look and found that the tabs on the cap were way to wide.
so anyway i have ordered one from vw heritage with a new bracket.

anyone else had this problem?
