I drive a Gipsy with large truck mirrors and a real view camera I know what is behind me it’s this mention of overtaking I don’t understand

Think I will look into this mine is a 86 Gipsy but the chassis cabs are sent over to Karmann at a earlier date and sometimes hang around for a while

The reason I asked was I have been gifted a cheap inverter gasless only mig / arc welder which set up with meg earth and no provision to easily change pos/neg without taking it apart

Should have also said that the flanges to the heads are okay it’s the ones to the silencer pipes that are rusted

Thanks for the reply Andrew the reason I want to t are off the the speedshop exhaust besides the filter problem is that is fitted with mild steel flanges which now are leaking
One thought I did have was to cut off the flanges and sleeve it with ss pipe

Returned brush pack received a new one almost instantly fantastic service from brickwerks
Fitted it today 14.2 volts at fast tickover happy days

Now it looks like the brickwerks brush pack is duff because now I am fight back we’re I started except now with added and cleaner earths

Today disconnected everything put old brush pack back in 90amp alternator reconnected back up started engine red light went out 13v at battery with ignition off 13.2v with engine running still the same when I switch on headlamps 13.5 at alternator engine running up 13.6 when revved. When connecting it up is there order to follow
And if the red light stays on What the the simple checks and I mean simple. Thanks
