Hi guys fitted a 1y non turbo engine into my doka, my question is do I have to use the 1.6 d air inlet manifold on it as the original 1y inlet fouls the engine bay sides?

Alright guys I'm looking to do a bit of sound deadening in my 25, there seems to be a lot of gear on eBay but the ratings are a bit hazey! Their was talk on here between elvis and few others regarding 1.6 sump being fitted to the 1y 19 engine. My mechanic has my engine out and we are in the process of mating the too please help!!

Hi guys been a while, I have a new engine to fit in my van 1.9 1y. My question is can I keep the 1y inlet manifold? If possible can anyone send me any pictures of a fitted engine. And maybe an idea of where wires go because some twit removed them and didn't know where they came from!
