Re: Autosleeper bed size
Mine has a 1x 4ft and 1x 2ft. The 2ft sits ontop of the 4ft in the middle of the opening when driving. The 4ft is secured by some split dowel either side that locates into the side runner. For the bed the 4ft slides to the back with the 2ft above the sink, then it is easy to push this up ontop when ...

Re: Autosleeper window seals + fibreglass shroud
I've just read that before. I have the original stiff fibreglass shrouds. They were glued in place and the old window seals went over the body work and and shroud edge. When I say "I got some seals from JK but failed to fit them with added shroud thickness." I actually mean someone else di...

Autosleeper window seals + fibreglass shroud
Hi
Any Autosleeper owners replaced their window seals. What did you use to fit the fibreglass shrouds as well?
I got some seals from JK but failed to fit them with added shroud thickness.
Thanks

Re: Internal panel rust
Resurecting this one. ....Got rid of seam at same time. Stayed dry ever since and same window so who knows. When you say seam do you mean the outer floor seam? My panel has been cut back and repaired by someone more capable than me. The outer floor that edges this panel has gone as has a small part ...

3/4 rock and roll with integrated belts
Hi all Just had the body work done and a respray on my Auto Sleeper. TNT orange and black, looks fab! orange.jpg Ripping out the old carpets at the mo, going to carefully remove the cabinets to refit with a little modification, and put a new marine ply floor in rather than chipboard. Then start to r...

Re: Alternator Charging worries !
It is easy, very easy, 2 screws and a wiggle and the old one is out, a bit of (careful) jiggling and the new one is in, put back the 2 screws = job done. You do have to remove fan belt and swing alternator to the right though otherwise one of the screws that hold regulator in place is a challenge t...

Voltage, I meant open circuit voltage, across the panel
I tested for shorts in wiring between panels and controller using continuity.

Re: Buzzer of Doom - Good course of action
Well, just took the van into the garage to check over fuel lines and look at the rust around windscreen  so had a chat about the buzzer. The mechanic said from experience as the buzzer comes on around 2000rpm it suggests the buzzer and wiring is fine & working perfectly, and the pressure IS...

Re: Electric Vehicle EV conversion
[T]he heavy body of a T25 would need some serious modifications. Who's going to make some carbon fibre body panels then? I'm thinking long term here as battery technology is developing. Read about an interesting one the other day using carbon cath & anodes with an organic electrolyte, the...

Re: Buzzer of Doom - Good course of action
Hmmm, on going, haven't had the time to do it yet. I'm either working, looking after my boy or away in the van! Hope it is just a faulty pressure switch or wiring. I've noticed I can avoid it by anticipating when it is going to happen and therefore change gear or brake bringing the engine speed down...

Heating and Ventilation Controls

Getting info from here less 4th lever http://www.autosleeper.vwt25camper.info/July_1985_VW_T25_Instruction_ManualVW...
