Re: syncro 2.1i running issues FFS slow progress
Its worth checking that your airflow meter is working as it should, as this can cause sporadic and intermittent running, and is temp sensitive a little bit. I made this video years ago when getting to grips with the digijet system on my 2.1 I was just trying to understand how all the digijett bits w...

Re: Syncro decoupler
Hi all, I went to see the old Syncro last week whilst on holiday. The owner was out, but she looked exactly as when she left my ownership. She now resides on the coast of West Sussex near Brighton and is used for family camping to festivals mainly.
Clive, I will see you in August.

Re: Syncro decoupler
I did over 35k on my decoupled Syncro (whilst decoupled), and about 4k coupled. Some of the only original parts on the syncro were the front driveshafts, gearbox and wheel bearings, and VC. Do you see the pattern? Some people will just not admit that for road driving you do not need 4wd, and in hind...

Re: Oh My!!
Transaction complete.
New start on different projects.
Cheers for now
Oh btw, I would like to thank the new owner on a very smooth transaction. I hope that she proves to be the memory maker that she has been for our family.
Simon.

Re: Surrey Council Lane closure overturned.
HarryMan "Yes, excellent example Simon, unfortunately, I feel we are often let down by some 4-wheeler Off-Road groups, even clubs that use and abuse but don't even consider that sort of pro-active response when (perhaps even they have ) things far pushed too I would very support the concept of ...

Should be on the white sticker with the options codes etc on a left hand driver behind your left knee on the fresh air duct for the doors.

Re: Stainless Exhaust
The advantage of the Brickwerks one (apart from being made just down the road from me) is that it is a direct copy of the standard VW exhaust. This means that if your headers are alright you can just replace from the knuckle to the silencer (assuming DJ) This can take the financial pain out of an en...

Re: Surrey Council Lane closure overturned.
If you saw them Simon and how they used to be its quite soul destroying, the gates blocking them off and the 30 ton excavations to level off a lane is really worrying. I have never done the Devon Lanes but our mate Ollie did on one of CJ's weekends and he said the Surrey lanes are quite similar (ov...

Re: Surrey Council Lane closure overturned.
Dont worry about the surfacing Jed, It's just likely to be the scalpings from all the resurfacing that goes on this time of year to use up surplus contingency budgets. It looks awful when first done, but soon settles down, and is way better than losing the lanes all together. The council down here u...
