Re: LDA connection query.
You're a star :) that's spot on! It was a photo of the other end (inlet manifold end) that I couldn't find and the photos on your post show it clearly :) Now all I need is a bit of spare time to sort it out! I'll update if there's a noticeable change in performance once I've reattached it all :) I'm...

LDA connection query.
Hi folks :) I'm hoping someone with far more mechanical know how than myself will be able to steer me straight with this one! I had to replace the fuel lines on my JX engine last week and when doing so noticed that the LDA isn't actually attached to anything... I've had a read through the forum, wik...

Re: Bike rack recommendations...
Thanks for the input guys! Scottbott - is it easy enough to take on and off? Think I'd only want it on there when we're taking bikes somewhere as opposed to all the time. Cheers!

Bike rack recommendations...
Evening everyone :) I'm looking to get a bike rack for our Westy and I wondered if I could pick your collective brains for pros and cons of the various types ie tailgate (Fiamma) or Towbar (either hanging type or channel). What would you guys recommend for two adult mountain bikes? I don't want to s...

Re: Earthing for new lights
Thanks for the advice OBG, I'm never really sure if it's better to use crimps or solder - especially when joining two lengths of wire. I need to extend the +ve wire from the battery to the new fuse box by 6 inches - in an ideal world id replace the whole length but in this case the wire disappears b...

Re: Earthing for new lights
Brilliant, thanks chaps :) As far as I can tell the rest of the electrics are as they should be - chassis earthed and with a split charge relay that all works fine. It was just a case on how to add extras! The only thing missing is the Westy BBB but I've got a separate charger so no probs there. Tha...

Earthing for new lights
Hi there folks, I've got a quick, and probably very simple query about how to earth new electrical items... I wired in a new fuse box for the leisure electrics today, all good and working with fuses for each thing (fridge, heater, radio etc). However I want to add some extra LED lighting and althoug...

Cheers both, and Bigherb - that's the clearest I've seen it explained yet and now makes perfect sense! Cheers for that

Re: Engine temp sensor
Cheers bud :) I'd checked the wiki so I was pretty sure I was looking at the right thing but there's a few different sensors on brickwerks and I didn't want to order the wrong thing! The gauge on the dash isn't working but the chap at the garage checked it all out and found that it was the sensor no...
