Re: COOPER's GOT A SYNCRO

Could I suggest " a thread per problem" which could be posted having read the wiki? Rather than keeping this going for 24 pages of nonsense.... OK I rarely get to meet any other UK based Syncro owners because I've been busy living in my van in Europe... Now I'm back, I have nob all money t...

Re: Tyre Size's for a 14" Syncro

You're currently running tyres that are much smaller overall than the standard 14" ones, the new size you are proposing is very close to the popular 215 75 15 so I would think you'll be ok. The rims obviously fit already, the only possible snag would be the added width causing them to foul on t...

Re: Yep another Tyre pressure thread

Try this thread http://wiki.club8090.co.uk/index.php/General_Tyre_pressure_calc as a good starting point (It comes up if you type "tyre pressure" into the wiki... ) What would you recommend for 205/R16 91W front and rear please What I would really recommend though it getting some pr...

Re: Bike rack advise

We have a ladder and have used a Fiamma and now a Paulchen rack with no issues at all. I guess the fittings for a bay tailgate will be different to a T3 though so could account for some of your problems

Re: Campingaz, HOW MUCH!? Refilling them is easy.

This is common practice in Spain, and in my experience anyway a very stupid thing to do. Generally a canister refilled like this will leak. Do it by all means but take note of the earlier pictures - you deserve to be in the awards nominations...;..... I take issue with this because the campingaz ad...

Re: Anyone run a tin-top as a camper?

The previous owner had stuck a Westy interior in our Kombi. Perfectly useable as a camper and a daily driver. There are some plans in the wiki or downloads section to make your own, but I would recommend getting a feel for the van 1st, then kitting it out to suit you. Have a look as many as you can ...
