It should have failed for the 'tell tale' warning light on the fog lamp switch not working. It looks like he did you a favour there.

Some awning advice please.

I am looking to get a driveaway awning to replace the current one I have which is a pain in the backside to put up. Does anyone have any experience or comments on this one? http://shop.justkampers.com/product_info.php/cPath/5_4065_4400/products_id/11617 It's the 2007 Spacemaker driveaway awning from...

Had a problem with mine where it would start and run but as soon as you stopped it wouldn't start again because the plugs were black and sooty. ie. major over-fuelling. I replaced the blue water temp sensor in the thermostat housing and it resolved it. Could be worth a try, they aren't expensive. Mi...

You need to make sure you get an 'electric' Oil Pressure Gauge. Then you just need to run a single wire from the sender to the gauge. I have an extension, then a 'T' piece connecting the original pressure switch and the sender for the gauge into the sender location by the left cylinder head on my DJ...

These people supplied all the hoses I used in my recent mechanical overhall. I found them to be very helpful. I think I used the 6mm hose for the fuel tank stuff.

They do stainless clips etc as well.

From a personal point of view I find I have more success with rusty nuts/bolts if you 'tap' the spanner with a hammer rather than just straining on them. It may be that it breaks the 'seal' Of the 8 nuts that bolt the exhaust to the head, the four I just tried to undo 'normally' sheared, the ones I ...
