Re: Westfalia benefits

Toast won't be a deal breaker for me! What I'm seeing in westies are double swivel front seats and adjustable rear bench, do any other builds have these as standard? It just seems to make it more versatile.

Re: Westfalia benefits

Thanks for the input. I'm looking into a westy I've been offered and it seems to have lots of sliding, swivel features that make it very versatile but the interior is a little plasticky. I'm won on the resale value if I find its not for me. I've seen some dreadful vans but the westy always cost more...

Re: Westfalia benefits

I only ask here to try and get a more impartial look, all the glowing things seem to come from Westfalia forums and most of the critical stuff comes from self build/caravan forums, it'd be nice to hear the middle ground.

Westfalia benefits

I'm looking to get a 4 berth camper and Westfalia seem to be so highly regarded by most. I'm slightly put off of LHD but they do seem to have lots of practical features.

What are the main benefits of a westy over other conversions, and are they worth the extra they always seem to go for?
