Re: Source starter motor
Thanks Stuart - complicated story - Original starter motor traded in with ECP when they supplied me with the faulty one. Newer faulty one has gone back to ECP who have refunded. I am now without starter motor. Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: Source starter motor
Just realised ECP is Euro Car Parts - did try them. First time they supplied the wrong part. Second time the solenoid was faulty on the refurb. They now have nothing available. That's why I am after other suggestions but thanks all the same.

Source starter motor
1987 T25 Automatic 1.9L petrol I need to buy a starter motor - have had several problems as have already been supplied starter motors for manual transmission which do not fit. I know the Lucas part number is LRS01179. Does anyone know an Equivalent Bosch part number (or other suitable manufacturer)?...

Re: Reliable Starter Motor
Really helpful information. Sadly not able to get hold of either option for a number of weeks - I will get a refurb. done locally and look into these options for the longer term. Thanks

Reliable Starter Motor
I need to replace the starter motor/solenoid on my 1986 T25 petrol 1.9 automatic as the old one has packed in. As I have an automatic I am solely reliant on the this so I wanted to get as good quality as is possible. Does anyone have any good recommendations? According to the Haynes manual the part ...

Re: Leisure battery connection
Thanks for help. I have tried removing the fuse (blade in slot 3). Original lights go out but the strip lights stay on (they are controlled by 10a fuse on Zig panel). Would it be normal for lights to run off Engine battery if the leisure battery is disconnected? Sorry about leaving off vehicle detai...

Re: Leisure battery connection
Had a good check now. The lights are running when the 12v switch is on. It makes no difference if the middle switch is set to site or touring. It would seem the wiring has been played around with unless there is another explanation.

Leisure battery connection
Hi - Hoping someone can help with a question about battery setup. I have recently bought a T25 Reimo conversion that uses a Zig CF8 control panel. The leisure battery has not been used for several years and I assume it is dead (it had an incorrectly fitted 15a fuse which was blown). When the 12V swi...
