The gearbox on my Holdsworth Villa seems to have met its demise and wondered if anyone can give me details of a reputable supplier for a recon one? It is a 1989 1.6TD engine.

Yes the threads seem fine.

Googled the part no of the sensor and justkampers do have one in stock which is spooky after not having one in a search yesterday. £8.50 as opposed £ 28.39 on brickwerks too....... job done hopefully!

I'll check the threads in daylight tomorrow before anything else. I notice the sensor probes are different on the brickwerks model but I suppose that doesnt make any difference.

Having had a new speedo cable to replace the previous broken one but again it has snapped. Taking it back to the garage, they have found that the spindle on the rear seizes after a few turns by hand.
