Oil leak

Hi guys, I know this might be crystal ball time but here goes… I have a little oil leak coming from the van at the rear.. I have a crack in my stainless steel exhaust right near a flange (funny word eh). The joint is rusted through also… so I’m thinking of cutting out about an inch or so from crack and the other side of the join.. then stick a joining pipe between them.. not sure if it’s the right way to go about it bu...

Hightop roof sealant

Hi guys,

The beading in between the hightop and vehicle body needs to be renewed.. any suggestions what I can use? I used silka 522 but it’s coming off and now there is a lovely space for water to enter..

When it happened on mine I opened up the cap fractionally so that it gripped better, this was on a new one driver's side that the old one had lost its grip on. The problem is finding/making a tool with the required dimension to do this with. I turned up a piece of oak on the lathe for mine. cheers,...
