That's what I thought! I just wanted to check that there isn't anything I could have broke behind the dash that would affect the wiring from the sensor to the gauge.
Many thanks for your reply, I guess the best thing to do would be replace sensor and see what happens!

Hi all, would any of you wish chaps mind telling me if there is any electrical components to check on the back of the instrument cluster in relation to the temp sensor? Hi, thanks for reply, well it was late and I got confused, the light is doing its self test on start up with the headlight switch in off position. (I thought it was on!!) But I have no high beam, and if I use the flasher its a yellow light that pops up on the dash lol not a blue one. Im going to try...
