These pins, are they suppose to be straight or bent?

Oh how I laughed as the part of the gearbox casing fell to the floor.. It was that important bit that holds the gearbox selector pin to the case.. I have managed to get hold of another gearbox but my box code is DH11 010 and the new one is DH02 060. Would a swap be ok? Also, to make life a tad easie...
