Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been extremely busy recently! So we decided to leave the black gunky stuff, then we sent the van to a local garage we know, this was to treat all the bits of rust and corrosion that was deemed necessary. Ermine is right that is the whole for the waste water pipe.

Taking a while to get samples in for the interior, soon the camper will be going in for a full treatment at the garage.

When that's done we can finally continue work! :)

Hey guys,

We've now finished the deconstruction phase of the refurb, however one of the window seals is brittle and totally broken away.

Does anyone know of any videos/diagrams on how to change the window seals?

The handle looks slightly different then in the picture - are you sure its the same? Sorry i dont want to snap anything.

Is there anywhere i can buy replacement handles??

Been busy, we've encountered our first problem - how do you remove the inner door handles from the doors?? we want to recondition the inner fabric.

Its in the shop now getting checked,

We're using a wood vinyl thats almost identical to the original.

hopefully we hear good news from the mechanic at the end of the week!

1664, yes it has the large pop top that goes up sideways and the flip down buddy seat behind the passenger seat considering keeping the whole thing retro and not straying too far from the original design, just get some new captain seats in the front and clean it up a bit. one very happy young camper...
