Have seen some old merc wheels on ebay, ET23, 8J, 16R. will the extra width may up for the small offset? Or are they a no go?

:D Theres life, and it soubds like a different van. i have the correct jets, only had to replace 1. vacume take offs went on fine and the slimmer filters fit. Mixture skews are at 5 tunes out, how do i go about finding the correct position? Also, is there a left and a right carb, as my vac adv is on...
