Switch (not GSF type) works when pushed by hand ( finger ).
But when installed rev. lights don't come on when reverse gear is engaged (with ignition on).
Does this mean something mechanical inside the gearbox is awry ?

No washer on this switch on my MV engined 1987 LHD.

Does anyone have another theory please?

Have had no rev'g lights for some time. They ork when switch is bypassed.
Changed switch but still no joy. Assume mecanical link to switch at fault?
Any ideas for a fix please?

Just to agree 2.1 petrol 1987 should run well on both fuels after conversion to LPG. Check that you'll be getting an anti-backfire device fitted as part of the conversion package,

There's a good LPG map covering all of France - think I bought it for a few Euros in a French 'aire' motorway shop/cafe.

Are LPG pumps plentiful or scarce on forecourts in Ireland?
