Get your existing engine checked out and sorted and then go LPG unless your engine turns out to on its last legs LPG will save you money in the long run and can always be used on any future petrol engine upgrade.

Hi i have just finished fitting the weld in type and found it to be a messy job . The old seat runners need to be removed by drilling out the spot welds ,this left about a dozen holes in the wheel arch from the spot welds most of which were messy and needed to be welded up . He said he had them on his Gypsy ,which i think is a coach built so may be slightly different to a standard VW T25.
Im sure someone on here will know . I was thinking of buying them myself but didn't fancy the trip .I have just bought a similar set so will be very interested to here how they fit .

MV Engineering in Telford did my van have a look at his photos on his facebook page MV Engineering there are loads of photos of the work on my white T25 .

i have a motordome but i rarely bother to connect it to the van and if i was buying again i would just get a large tunnel tent and park the van up next to it .

My leak was from the bolt at the top of the rad (bleed valve ) but only leaked after about a hour so it took a long time to work out where the leak was .

I was just thinking to myself today do i really need to insulate my van . I have good insulation under the mattress and a good quilt and or sleeping bags as well as a heat source if needed so i should not get cold in the van . The reason i was thinking about this is i know that some of the stuff use...

Only use the high temp spray unless you want to redo it like i had to . luckily it was just the head linning . I ran out of the high temp stuff and could not wait so tried the stuff from a carpet shop . It lasted about 2 weeks until the sun came out and melted it .

Hi
i have the Khyam easy erect which is great but next time i would have a stand alone tent and a canopy for the van ,as i just cant be bothered to keep attaching the tent to the van every time we want to use the van .

Hi welcome
your not alone im having problems fitting my rock and roll bed from bluebird ,
i have read somewhere that these beds are designed for the bay but are sold for the T25 as they will fit with a bit of messing around . Hope you get it sorted soon .

Hi there is a vid on utube somewhere of a VW T25 with a standard caravelle rear seat and a large pad that pulls forward and sits over the rear seat .It is then supported by fitting seat belt straps from the pad into the seat belt fixing points . Try a small box or draw from a chest of draws lined with a pillow and place it in with you on the rock and roll bed .

Hi mate I have just bought the bluebird full length but haven't fitted it yet . Its well made and finished but until I fit it I can say much more .
