Cleaned out bolt holes and oiled new bolts as per manual . I have tightened bolts to stage three (40nm /60...

So managed to break free the head bolts and lo and behold managed to snap the head off one..front right nearest fuel pump....

How can I tell without taking the head off if I need a two or three hole headgasket?
Should I just buy both and take the unused one back?
Also can't for the life of me find the engine number!
AAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
