Re: Securing the exhaust properly!
They have straps over the top and are holding the silencer just fine. No movement no rattles. I'm just making good with what was already on the van, I know it's not right, but I can't afford a back box right now. Just thought if share what I'd done yesterday. Thanks for your input guys

Re: Securing the exhaust properly!
No it's not, to be honest I haven't got a clue what it's from, but it definitely works better on the saddles I got from brickwerks. I'll have to invest in an original silencer when I've put some more hours in at work

Securing the exhaust properly!
So as the subject suggests, that was this mornings activity! The other day I was sitting at the lights and I could hear a horrible rattle from the rear. When I got home I checked, and found that the rear silencer was held on by this ( sorry I'd already removed the part before thinking about sticking...

Re: Idle stabilisation control module/relay
Well I did everything you guys said but the problem was still there! So I put up with it until I could get some pennies together which meant after Christmas. I did some more reading on the problem and discovered that even if you think the idle stabilisation valve is working as per what the literatur...

Re: Idle stabilisation control module/relay
cheers Adrian, I will have to try the TPS tomorrow now (my boss is understanding, but I don't want to push my luck  ) as for the isv, I've already cleaned this and it does hum on the first ignition position. I've also ran it with and without it connected afterwards. it made no odds when it was ...

Re: Idle stabilisation control module/relay
im not sure at all to be honest  at the moment, when you start it the revs jump straight up to 2500 to 3000 rpm and stay there! the previous owner may of had a problem too as there is a clamp of some sort restricting the air to the isv, I've tightened this so to restrict the air more so its no...

Idle stabilisation control module/relay
I've just popped this little bugger out from behind my rear o/s light. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/29/unady2a7.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/29/y5anany9.jpg I believe this is what's coursing my crazy idling problem! Is there anyway of checking or repairing this relay as they seem to be as ...

Re: 90 2.1 Digifant 1 starting problem
try all connections, clean them and reconnect including your ecu connector. this worked for me last night and my van did exactly they same as yours by the sounds of it. its worth a shot and it doesn't cost anything!

Well I think I've sorted it, it seems that the ecu connection had come loose!! However, it seems to have gained a new problem, it now has a crazy idle! Jesus, it's never ending haha

Re: help!! please!!
i have checked the dizzy, and its tight and everything inside it looks fine, however im going to go over it tonight just in case.
It was pretty warm so i don't think its the auto choke, and all the leads are still connected.
its a real head scratcher, i just hope its not an expensive one!!
