i fitted a reconditioned tdi from the passat to mine, wasnt too hard, swapped the electronic pump for a mechanical one which i mated to the old one. thats more difficult but can be done. now it runs well and returns 45 miles per gallon. would defo recommend it, but its not for the faint hearted. goo...
