Re: Mechanic in Berkshire area?
My guy is a mobile mechanic, he's not a vw specialist or anything but he's honest and he knows what he's doing. If you still want his number let me know and ill pm it, not sure how far he travels though.

Mechanic in Berkshire area?
Both my prefered choice of mechanic are away this week so I just went and had a word with my local garage, he said 'what's a t25' doesn't really instill much confidence. It's 'only' the brakes but still. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the Berkshire area? The rub is I need it done for Santa pod a...

Re: Won't start possible flooding
Aah thanks, I do have a manual but haven't read it yet. I bought it off a fella who's quite well known round these parts and he's assured me its a great van and I trust him so I was pretty sure the problem was me.

Won't start possible flooding

I thought at least I can give it a good clean, went to drive it round the back and it won't start. I thought I may have flooded it s...

Re: Another squeelie wheel thread
Last time I worked on the brakes of my car I wrote the car off due to not being able to stop vey well, luckily there was another car there to act as a tire wall
So I'm a bit dubious about playing around with this.

Re: Another squeelie wheel thread
That's great thanks. I just picked it up Wednesday so haven't accumulated any bits I might need fix problems. The fella I bought it off is gonna sort any niggles out but is away for the week and my mechanic is not answering his phone, prob gone away for bank holiday. Sounds like the greasing I could...

Another squeelie wheel thread
Hi all, I have a squeal that seems to be coming from the offside rear wheel, it only starts after a mile it two. It's not constant but increases and decreases in speed with the rotation of the wheels, gets louder the further into the journey we get and briefly disappears when I touch the brakes. Rea...
