As its now coming up to the winter months and I won’t be using the van is much as I’d like to I was thinking about hardwiring a ctek charger to the main battery so I don’t have to keep moving bed mattress/junk to get to battery. I don't know cross over dates but the 1st few years then runners changed I believe, all info was on 8090 will try and find links later.

Early ones fit straight in, may need to trim the runners to fit.

My new hardly used T4 seat arrived difference is night and day in comfort! Size wise !!! It may stop the water ingress in some cases but in my experience the vast majority get water ingress via the top lip of the rubber where it runs down the A pillars under the rubber until it gets to the bottom, accumulates and festers. Capillary action I guess I've been lucky as its kept water tight...

It's not really a bodge it's more of a fix, I'm happy for you to weld the panel for me and rectify the problem obviously at your expense
