mot question - hole in drivers side foot well

hi just tiding the van for its mot and lifted the rubber mat from the drivers side foot well there is a big rust hole there about 2 inches across. does any one know if it would fail the mot for this - could I just patch it up for the moment with fibre glass and mesh? i think it will need a patch wel...

how to reseal the gutter

hi
i have an 83 auto sleeper and the gutter sometimes leaks into the van when it rains heavily i guess need to reseal the gutters where the roof joins the van any ideas on how to do this or is there a magic product i can use to help. thanks in advance.Bart.

sliding door handle question

hi
in the cold weather i have just broken the sliding door handle off my A reg camper.
does any one know if it is possible to fit a late shorter handle to the early style door
or does any one know where i could get have an early longer handle

mines an auto sleeper poptop a little different i know. i mount mine inside strapped up to the roof whilst im driving . fins upwards and the nose just coming in to the cab. just attached some loops for the straps. i can also fit two in side by side. no worries about theft or aerodynamics either. jus...

ok van in for MOT on monday mostly fine but a few small rust spots the main one of concern is in the drivers footwell ive cleaned it up and there is now a very small hole it is about 3mm long and 2mm wide. what should i do fill it and paint it over, just paint it over or leave the metal bare. im als...

turns out it was aloose connection on the bulb just pushed it in it seated properly and hey presto its working fine

looked at the bake fluid level the fluid is at the bottom of the triangle under the word max

handbrake warning light

does any one have any idea why suddenly my hand brake warning light is constantly illuminated? thankfully it still gets brighter when the hand brake is applied. does it illuminate for any other faults?

lpg idle speed problem

i have a romano lpg system fitted to the van 1.9 dg engine it seems to run fine under power but cuts our when idling

how do you adjust the idle speed ? is it easy or is it a trip to the garage?
