Thanks mate. I'm already a member of that group so I'll post up on there. Good suggestion.

Rear Wheel Arch

Hi, been a while since I posted on the forum, or indeed, actually worked on the van! Been working on the rear wheel arch. It was coated with some kind of rubberised protection which did a good job of keeping the water in where the sealant had cracked. I've removed the sealant and alot of the crap me...

Re: Trailing Arms - Bushes rotating with the bolt

Reciprocating saw. The bolt will be seized inside the bush so they will need to be replaced too. If you cut through with a disc make sure you wear gloves with long sleeves. Trailing Arms - Bushes rotating with the bolt

Hi people,

I'm trying to remove one of my trailing arms to carry out the usual top hat repairs. I've finally got one of the bolts to move but as it rotates the bush rotates with it so I'm struggling to get the bolt out. Any ideas?

Re: I need a good Garage near Ashford Kent read on

Hi Dave, are you the guy with the black van I met in Sainsburys garage this morning? Try D&D Autos. They started off with VWs and there's a guy there who seems to know his stuff. There's also a VW restoration place somewhere around Chilmington. I'll see if I can find his number.

Zak, that's a great looking van. Trying to convince the other half that orange is a great colour. She's not convinced yet so may have to show her your van!
