Thanks folks. I am holding off on filling the hole - would ideally like to fit a sunroof pop top when i have the cash. Any ideas on what i can do beforehand as a stop gap. Not sure if she will fail an mot with a 4ft sq hole in the roof???

Hi I bought my transporter as a summer project to convert to a day van. It has a 3ft square hole cut in the roof above the twin slider doors. A perspex cover cam off during transport.
