Re: Squeaking noise from front

Well, it only started making noise after the cable was detached for the diff to be removed. The cable is awkward to tighten. I did notice when I removed the cable was tight and when attached again I found that even with tightened there is still a little movement with it.

Re: Squeaking noise from front

After a few longer runs with Speedo still detached the noise hasn't come back so I'm thinking Speedo cable. Does this normally require lubricating?

Re: Squeaking noise from front

I experience the exact same noise you describe and under the same conditions.  As Aidan has suggested, I slackened off my front CV bolts to get some grease on the front outer CV seals but unfortunately this did not cure it (not to say this wont resolve it for you though). To be honest I gave up look...

Re: Squeaking noise from front

Mine had the same issue and a daily squirt of WD40 on the upper wishbone bushes for a week did the trick.

The noise is defintely in cycle with wheel speed so i dont think it it will be wishbone

Aidan wrote: 16 Sep 2020, 07:14 front outer cv seals ? they seal against the back of the upright easy enough to spray some lube donw there to check if it stops the squeaking, does it do it only in the dry and not in the wet ?
Have only been out in the dry so fair point. I could get some spray in there see if it does owt.

So it's the one of the left that doesn't work. I guess there might be a sperate blower for feet?

Re: Fan for heater no longer working after removing dash

The plot thickens. So being slightly stupid as this was the first switch I put back i assumed it was the one I would normally use as the blower, it's not, there two and in fact this has never worked. I'm not even sure what it's for and now I'm curious as to why I doesn't work and what it does. I'll ...

Re: Fan for heater no longer working after removing dash

I'm trying, trouble is I cannot locate the earth as I have no visibility of earth cable coming from fan. Not without dragging dash back out again :(

I've also checked voltage on switch and that is fine.

Fan for heater no longer working after removing dash

Hi all, Took dash out to replace wiper system and on putting back together the fan switch is no longer operable, I get nothing when I move the dial. Was working fine before I took dash out so at a loss, as this was one of the only switches that I didn't have to disconnect in order to remove dash. Ve...

Apparrently I you choose the refurb option with Brickwerks they will replace the bushes as well.

Anyone used the brickwerks replacement prop with sliding joint? https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/propshaft-t3-syncro-hd-with-sliding-joint.html Yep, have run one since 2018. 3 months in Morocco blah blah, probably got 15k on it now. Re: Prop shaft bush replacement - does any one do it?

The company that supplies Nylon type bushes for the prop shaft is igus .co.uk and the "iglidur G sleeve bearing" number is GSM-2528-25 cost £5.87 +vat and £6.00 postage; so a total of £14.24  Have a look at www.igus.co.uk. Still got my Syncro after all these years,                                  ...
