Re: Clutch slave issue - brand question
Good question - not an easy thing to check and maybe a good excuse to get a borescope camera
By the feel of the pedal, a catastrophic failure of the linkage wouldn't have been such a gradual drop in bite point - I managed to get the clutch to disengage once, albeit with difficulty, this morning

Re: VW Heritage curtain set
Hi, I purchased this set in August and have only just got round to trying them out. On initial trial fit mine were looking the same as yours - i.e. too short for the window profile on a factory Caravelle (1986) I emailed Heritage and they got back to me last week - they are stating the that rails ar...

Caravelle bed installation
Hi Folks, I managed to get hold of an original caravelle rock n' roll bed to replace the bench seat but have found out that the back rest pins are in a different location to my bench seat. I have seen from some pictures that some buses have 2 sets of plates either side to locate the pins but mine on...

Re: Painting steelies
I went down the rattle can route - used 3 tins of primer, 6 tins of colour, and 2 tins of lacquer. Just used Halfords spray paint as I managed to borrow a friends trade card to keep costs down. still looking good after 1 year Prep - http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m238/rawson_pilon/IMG_0620_zps4f...
