Was reading your thread with interest, wondered what you ended up building ? We are building the interior and based it around the pod idea. Actual unit, but we are able to move in and out. No fridge though, use cool box. Be interested in seeing your pictures if you have any.

I need to make a decision and I am getting that much conflicting advice I need help. Is this choice just down to preference or is there a reason why you would pick one over the other ?

found a great garage who managed to heat up bolt and replace one of the bolts. the other one will need to be drilled out as mentioned, so will look more into mig option, cheers

we needed same thing and went to Stanford hall show; traders were selling original t25 from £10-20 and these fit under seat and fit jack point. they had them stored away, but if you r still looking ill try and dig out the number. Debs

...and on campsite in Oxfordshire (farmoor). Debating whether to get recovery home (60 miles) or try and get fixed locally. Alternator is held by other bolts, but is twisting slightly making the fan belt screech on occasion. More concerned about sheared bolts coming free when driving. Any advice wel...

Hi battery ran out. Been towed to recovery service garage overnight to be taken to garage in morning. Temp showed no overheating, no noise except buzzer going, oil and oil filter changed before trip with genuine parts. Have checked oil level fine and water. There r some splatters of oil on tailgate,...

Hi ok understand the theory that figure 8 needs to be pulling down, think we do have small gutters,like to blame that anyway
readjusted everything and been up for 10mins so might be onto winner! Thanks everyone.

how to attach awning with figure of 8 ?
We are away and bought figure of 8 to attach awning. We slide on as instructed and it just falls off van, are we being stupid? Is there some trick to this? Any assistance gratefully received, just hoping it doesn't rain!

Hi, we just got quotes of the same to get our van serviced, but in the end we did it ourselves. Plus hubby does electrics so he has wired in the whole van. If you decide to take DIY route, I'm sure he'd help, if not as I said we got three quotes which ranged from £200 - £250. We are near Hinckly so ...
