Just wondering what this connection is for on the Westy's? Does it tell the BBB not to charge the LB when the circuit is closed / engine running?

Can't seem to get my BBB working. Power in is ok, both fuses are fine. It gets a bit warm, but i'm not getting any output voltage.

Thanks for that. I gess it was just water escaping under pressure as it got hot. no idea where i'll get a replacement out here. How safe is it to drive with it with a slight crack?

Thanks for the responses. I do think the battery has had its day. There was a lot of corrosion on the positive terminal, and a couple of the wires did look a little melted. I thought the top up tank was the expansion tank, as that's where the water flows into after it's expanded by heat?

Either way, header tank empty, top up tank up to the line with bubbles... i might see if the owner can check it out for me.
