Sorry, yes all seemed fine, ran perfectly again. Thanks so much for advice and v kind offer. I was beginning to get v worried but am hoping that all now holds up... for a while at least. Albania here we come!!

Hi Paul Its a 1986. Im in romsey. Thats a very kind offer to look at it. Garage have given it back tonight hoping that they have solved it, I think they've cleaned tank out and fitted a fuel lift pump (?). I will take it out for a good run later and see how it is. Fingers crossed!! Thanks, simon

Hi, any help on the following would be appreciated: 1.9 watercooled splutters in 4th gear, usually when cruising around 60/65. Taking foot off gas then gently putting foot down usually solves without losing too much speed. Will then be ok for another 5-10 miles when it will do it again. Never done i...
