Re: Anti Roll bar bush removal
And to hopefully add some useful information. I would suggest using a 2 or 3 arm puller to remove the top drop link bushes, had to in my case as I just didn't have the grunt to shift em by hand. I would also suggest drilling a small centring hole on the end of the ARB. I didn't and the damn puller c...

Re: Anti Roll bar bush removal
Thanks for that oddly reassuring post!
I thought I must be doing something wrong but it seems it is the 9 stone weakling that's the problem.
Need judicious application of leverage and swearing then.
Cheers!

Re: Anti Roll bar bush removal
I've followed this thread carefully for the last couple of days and managed to remove and replace all of the anti roll bar bushes with nice shiny new Powerflex ones from Brickwerks, including a tidy up of all component parts VACTAN and Rustoleum treatment too, then copper slip on all bolt threads. I...

Re: powerflex transmission mount??
Holy thread revival batman! Just fitted one of the Brickworks Powerflex gearbox mounts and can attest to it being a b*gg*r getting the old rubber and steel whatsit out of the middle of the mount. After trying all sorts of ways to just push the sleeve out, I found the best way was to make a single cu...

Re: Novice Embarking on a T25 restoration requiring help
Hi Dudley, Welcome to the club! Theres a place called Carls Cool Campers just outside Brackley in Croughton, I took my Doka to them a couple of months ago to see how much they were going to cost to get work done and they're not cheap but they really do seem to know what they are doing, they have a p...

Re: Doka flatbed, what to do?
Like the idea there Fin, I've been looking at something similar from over in Germany. Thanks for all the other ideas. MM the replacement bed I saw yesterday was nearly double the price you mentioned!!! Travis Perkins sell buffalo board/wysadeck type stuf in pretty big sheets so it's easy eno...

Re: Doka flatbed, what to do?
Well I now know you can get complete bed panels brand new!!! but they're crazy expensive are there any other panels that could be used?
Caddy bed panels, splitty floor, bay floor etc?
Still on the fence over what to do

Re: Cornwall - when and where to go
You could go to Polperro, stay outside the village at Killigarth Manor Park but be prepared to do a little walking down to the village! Village is beautiful, but i'm a little biased as I spent many a happy summer holiday there when I was a kid, visiting family. I can definately reccommend a great Re...

Re: Radio / CD radio for T25
Just fitted an Alpine IDA-X311 I got of a mate at work, it's a snug fit but with a little more tinkering should be spot on. I removed the ashtray to feed wires and guide the unit in and even with the mass of wires it comes with it fits fine, has ipod connectivity with an actual ipod dock style conne...

Re: Flashing red light and temperature guage needle seems high
I had a similar problem when I first got my doka, was worried about overheating so checked the coolant level sensor in the expansion tank, quick clean up with some fine emery paper and a cloth and connected back up, no difference! Hmmmm Followed wiring around visually and found dodgy looking earths ...

Re: Weber carb on my 1.9DG
Funnily I have been reading that thread already after searching high and low for useful info, found a rolling road tuning place in Northampton and may well be making a trip over there to get the old girl sorted out, from memory they are charging more the £100 to do the job though ! if it's a good jo...

Re: Weber carb on my 1.9DG
Looks like I am reasonably lucky, my dizzy is not an 009, seems to have a vacuum unit on the back, hadn't noticed it before, until I had a reason to check. So that should be one less thing to replace/worry about

Re: lost first gear
Maybe I will just continue to enjoy driving the old girl as is for a while, then when I have some spare time I will replace all the worn bushes in the gear linkages and see if that helps. I reckon for around £200 I could completely replace all the worn parts in the gear linkage system and fit a shor...
