Complete original VW sills, ..or spereate sill pieces?
Hi My van is solid on everything but the inner sills, sliding door track (lower), and the lower front panel where it meets the deformation panel. I can weld pretty well (but want to improve). I have access to a mechanical workshop with a car hoist and quality snap-on mig welder etc. So I'm gonna bit...

For me over my tired old standard system, I instantly noticed a massive improvement in low end throttle response.
But generally all in all, it has made a vast improvement right across the entire rev range. ...and it really compliments that WBX burble.

Can late model stubaxles be fitted to early model suspension
I am looking to do a big brake conversion at some point, and unfortunatley I have the early model front suspension setup. And all the Audi ATE 57 caliper mounting kits avaliabe all require the late model uprights, as they have the narrower disc hubs (if you know what I mean?). So does anybody know w...

Re: Is this a solution for duff mirrors???
I justv got a couple of rubber bulkhead grommets (the one with no hole in the centre, but just a nice little thin piece of circular rubber), that I had kicking about in my toolbox. I then I carefully cut the the thick outer edging away to liberate the rubber disc. Once the mirror was dismantled, cle...
