T25 Diesel 1.6 TD watercooled

We are looking for a flange seal removal tool VW 681 which takes out the seals where the drive shafts go into the gearbox. (4 speed). Any one got one? Or ideas for sourcing or ideas for an alternative? We can buy or adapt.

Re: new leisure battery not charging (battery checked ok)

With the amount of money I spend on keeping her in trim and running I think I could have easily gone to California several times over.

:) And thanks again for your quick response. Feeling there was hope despite our frustration was a great lift this morning!!

Re: new leisure battery not charging (battery checked ok)

Thank you so much. That's such a help. Steve has been up much of the night sorting other stuff so he can get to the garage when they open! Re: France - any suggestions for a month road trip?

Hi, I'd recommend municipal sites wherever you go. They are cheap, clean and usually well situated. Even in July/August you can usually find places to stay in France with ease as long as you don't leave it too late in the day to arrive somewhere.
