Re: Won't restart if engine is hot...
Well definitely loose the filter in the engine bay first, and replace the stock fuel filter. Double check breather pipes on top of the fuel tank also. OK, dumb question time... I know where the breather pipes are situated, just not sure how accessible they are? Is this a jack & axle stand job? ...

Re: Won't restart if engine is hot...
Not found a solution yet. My petrolhead brother in law has suggestion it could be a coil problem, but I'm still thinking it's fuel related. Had yet another breakdown today. Drove for about 8 miles, filled up with fuel, restarted, popped into Sainsbury for 10 mins, restarted, but didn't make it out o...

Re: Won't restart if engine is hot...
Does she turn over? Could be the oilite bush at the end of the starter. Or the starter itself. (Someone will correct me if I'm completely off track) Yep turns over. Just refuses to ignite, due to lack of fuel in the carb. I suppose one of the perks of having the extra filter in the engine bay, is b...

Won't restart if engine is hot...
Hi... Just want to pick your brains. Got a 1.9 petrol water-cooled 1984 bus and we've had an intermittent fuel/starting problem pretty much since the day we bought her nearly 3 years ago. Basically after a long drive or in really hot weather our T25 struggles to restart if we've parked up for a whil...

Hot weather fuel pump problems
Hi... I need some brain picking please. We've had a fuel issue with our 1.9 petrol 1984 camper since we bought it nearly 3 years ago. I won't bore you with all the times our Clara has died due to fuel shortage. It's a lot!!! To fix the issue I've replaced fuel filters, fuel lines, fuel pump and stuc...

Re: Electrical problem
Mmmmmm... Think I may have found the root of my troubles. Removed the 16A fuse (wipers, washer & blower) and found this... http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/14/b3057a44108030370f90ae78b679d881.jpg Not sure if this is cleanable and I'm not sure why it effects my indicators too, but it certainl...

Re: Electrical problem
Fuses look like bullet type to me...
Just taped up the loose wires and reconnected everything. Started up once ok, then once without wipers, indicator & blower. Then all fine again???
Electrics are lovely aren't they!!!

Electrical problem
Hi... I've stubbornly tried to fix this without having to post on here, but I think I'm beaten :-( I've got a 1985 1.9 petrol T25, and I've had an intermittent electrical fault for the past 2 weeks. Off to France soon, so need to sort it. Whilst driving I've twice lost my electrics (wipers & ind...

Thanks people... I'll investigate further.

Radiator fan at 4.00AM???
This is a slightly bizarre one that I'm hoping somebody else has encountered... Last weekend we took Clara, as our lovely van is called, for a little trip out to Staffordshire. We pitched up on the Friday night and never drove the van again until we left on the Sunday morning... Well, after going to...

Re: Fridge advice please...
There was an optional extra to add 250v to the 122. http://www.autohomes.vwt25camper.info/RM122Mains_KitWM.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; To be honest I'm still a little unsure as to what I've got inside??? It's labelled as a RM122-B. It has a 3 way dial to the bottom ...

Re: Fridge advice please...
Thanks Jeff... Unfortunately there's nothing on Wiki relating to the RM-122B. The Electrolux download site also has no mention of the RM-122B. I've even spoken to someone at Dometic who stock old fridge spares and again nothing for the RM-122B... So it looks like second-hand is my only option.
