Re: Baby car seat in the van
Congratulations on the news, we found the van fantastic when our two kids were babies for feeding, changing, sleeping etc (still do). We've got a caravelle so already have 2 3 point belts in the back. I remember Brickwerks had a kit with belts and mounting plate. For isofix there are a few threads a...

Re: Accelerator Cable Replacement
Brill, will have another check of the pipe prior to feeding in the new cable. I've not felt it being sticky and was pretty responsive...right up until I eased off down a hill and reapplied the power going up the other side. Pedal to the floor and the van eased to a stop :/

Accelerator Cable Replacement
Would I be correct in assuming that the throttle cable and sleeve sits inside a larger piece of conduit from the pedal to the rear cross member where it meets the conduit which comes with the new cable? If so how likely is the sleeve going to need replacing? I haven't removed the old cable yet, is i...

Theres the irritating little spring clip on the seat collar, the headrest is still pretty snug though.

Re: Oh dear have I messed up the gears
Might be worth having mole grips and spanners easily accessible as could need a tweak 1 spline either way. The wiki is good, not sure if it was there or in an old post where Aiden gave a really simple method to set up.
Enjoy the holiday.

From across the pond, there's Chad with Living the Van Life.

He drives through snow, chops wood, makes fire and cooks massive steaks. Some pretty cool drone and photography too.

Re: LED DRLs
Thanks Rob, confirmed my suspicions that cheap may well be false economy. The Ring ones seem reasonable and a named brand, I also looked at some Philips DRLs, look quality but 3 times the price.

Re: removing hi top
Father in law suggested that polypropylene packing tape you get on parcels/pallets when I mentioned sikaflex removal to him last week. Not tried it but in theory sounds plausible and save a bit of paintwork.
