Re: Inter cooler or charge cooler?
Why has no one made a similar design to the Oettinger T3 charge cooler that was available as an upgrade option? Is it because of it being rare or thought to not actually work that well? I fitted one to my Westy and it seems to work really well. Fits in the factory engine bay layout as well. Here is ...

Getting petrol engine running, been stood!
Just got a new project that has been stood for a couple of years not started etc. What would be things to do or check before trying to get it started ? Also what to check if it does not fire?
Engine is a 1.9 dg.
Any handy pointers would be much appreciated! Petrols are not my thing normally!

Re: syncro bidding frenzy
Very high spec Velle, was tempted myself. Like you say though, a lot of question marks on things.
Being stood outside for 12 years must of taken its toll on things!

Re: syncro bidding frenzy
The V5 does not show ownership, just who is responsible for taxing... but, what other document could someone produce other than the V5 to claim ownership? Surely the DVLA did something prior to issuing this guyis with a V5 in a new name??? All the DVLA do is send out a letter stating someone is app...

Re: syncro bidding frenzy
Apparently could of been off the road since 2000!! Mechanicals will be shagged surely? Also it is actually someone else's bus that was left with the guy now selling it. He applied for a V5 last year and is now selling it! Not legally his to sell though is it? Having a V5 makes you registered keeper ...

Re: A little heads up on your insurance agreed valuation.
Just giving my knowledge of an 'Agreed Value' Claim. Back before we had our first T3 we had an early 72 bay which was in a very nice restored condition etc, was agreed value insured for £12k through Adrian Flux. Cant remember who the actual underwriter was? Anyway May 2008 took it out for a blast ar...

Taller 5th gear in a 2wd box.
How can you tell if a 2wd gearbox has a taller 5th fitted when it is out of a van?
Can you tell by counting the teeth on 5th gear?
Any advice appreciated.
