im thinking its the release bearing i need to change more than clutch, ill do it all. but will log it as you say, anyother jobs to do as its out? box fluid? if so what and how many litres?

Can box be removed without taking engine out? Or does it all come out?

Once driving van is as normal as they ever get. It's revving high at the moment but I dint think that's related.

When it was at its worst I was in heavy traffic using it loads. Today was mid journey in normal urban traffic. How much pain am I looking at to sort?

Are clutches likely to show wear more so when hot... It was midway home it happened but I carried on and it didn't do it again

hi all, got a 2l cu Aircooled. Went away this weekend and have had issues... we got caught in traffic, after a while as i pulled away the van jumped forward made a weird "eerrrnn" noise. it felt as though the after i released the clutch the rear wheel spun and then gripped causing a lunge ...

Hi all, finally got the old girl usable, so now I would like to get last bit of tune up done on rolling road. Anybody know anywhere near basingstoke that can fit a high top in to tune. Looking for hest drive not best bhp please

Thanks for reply. I have fitted Huco electronic low pressure as suggested when bought the carbs. From eurocarb. It almost sounds in 4th it's igniting in exhaust with a tingy sound. It does run better if I take out of gear hard rev it, it builds revs up drops then pucks up, will keep doing this.

Hi all recently I had twin dells fitted, all was great till fuel pump died, I've changed this and gears 1-3 seem okay but in 4th it's coughing and spluttering. If its taken out of gear and given full revs it revs then cuts for a second then gives full revs again. Any ideas? 2l cu air-cooled
